As an artist, painter, mentor and cultural leader of the Noongah people, Shane Pickett embraced the opportunity to create this sculptural and painted artwork for the Aboriginal Health Unit at the Mandurah Community Health Care Centre. This artwork, The Sandbars – The Story of the Saltwater People, is Shane's legacy to all those, young and old, who use this centre.

Tony Pankiw embodied the school's history and values in the artworks he designed for Lockridge Primary. The students' illustrations were used alongside his own to produce an aluminium laser cut 'relief tree' for each building within the school. The centrepiece is his large sculpture of Gryphon, the creature on the school's crest, adapted from the Hammersley family crest, the original owners of the farmland where the school now lies.

Raphael van der Waag's artwork Cooling Breezes is a sculptural expression of the architectural concept behind the Main Roads WA Great Southern Regional Office building. The roof of the building contains 'wing' like structures to promote natural airflow in the office and were also the main inspiration for Raphael's work.

Trace is a practical, integrated courtyard artwork, inspired by the poetic ideals of the calming yet regenerative characteristics of flowing water. The artists held workshops with patients at Graylands Hospital, the result of these is the poetic text that can be read on both sculptures – the tree and the seat.

Laughter Amongst Clouds aims to enhance the space where young people with illness come together for treatment and time out. The series displays imagery selected from historic photographs from the hospitals archives, subtle colours and text suggested by patients and staff during their interactions with the artist.

PMH hope that the redevelopment of Ward 5A will improve patient experience, service delivery and workforce satisfaction. The "Circles" installation by Susan Flavell brings a fun and childlike feel to the corridors of the ward and the perfect shapes symbolise change, healing, regeneration, wholeness, eternity, perfection, movement and creation.

Aiming to integrate the artworks within the hard landscaping and the walls of the various school buildings, the artists behind this piece collaborated with the project to create two different artworks – Patterns and Codes – for Atwell College. Simplicity and fluidity are at the core of this paving artwork design, which is inspired by the rhythm of change.

Artist Bridget Norton’s own passion for boats and yachting made Geraldton’s rich maritime and seafaring history all the more inspiring to her. Knowing first-hand the importance of safe seafaring journeys she decided to focus her artwork on navigation. Cleverly combining three quite different elements, she created a ‘navigation chart’ throughout the campus.

This artwork draws its inspiration from the fundamental essence and history of Broome and surrounding regions. The sculpture is based on a DNA strand, the interlocking aluminium threads represent new cultures who reside in the area, alongside steel, grounded filaments which symbolise the indigenous communities, intrinsically connected with the land.
