Dramatic flowing tidal forms and arresting rhythms are the foundation of artist Steve Tepper’s elegant abstract sculpture for Derby District High School. Time and Tide was inspired by the wondrous phenomena of tides and tidal patterns caused by the gravitational interaction and motion of the Sun, Moon and Earth acting on ocean waters.

Artworks for the new Kalgoorlie Courthouse connect the complex to its architectural and cultural heritage. Paintings and designs by Aboriginal artists from the Goldfields-Esperance region tell stories that relate to the region while the courtyard sculptures complement the architecture, alluding to the Goldfields landscape.
