Assistance for Applicants
Staff members are available to provide vital assistance to all applicants. Please discuss your eligibility and application with a DCA Project Officer prior to making your submission. Project Officers can provide invaluable feedback on your draft to help you write your best application.
Priority assistance is provided to first-time applicants, as well as Indigenous applicants, regional applicants, young people and applicants from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Project Officers are available for face-to-face meetings or by telephone, fax and email.

Interpreting Assistance in Languages other than English
Please contact us if you have any difficulty understanding this handbook or would feel more comfortable being able to discuss your application in your first language. Translations into Chinese (Traditional), Arabic, Croation, Indonesian, Malay, Persian, Serbian or Vietnamese can be found in the translations section on the left hand side.
Alternatively, you can do the following:
- Telephone the Translating and Interpreting Service on 13 14 50, during business hours, 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday. This is the cost of a local call.
- Please indicate which language you wish to use.
- Tell them that you wish to speak with someone from Arts Grants on (08) 9224 7310.
