Funded organisations

There are three types of funded organisation models:

Tripartite Base Funded Organisations

Are not-for-profit entities with a sound artistic, operational and financial track-record who are provided with base funding towards administrative, operative and artistic costs of delivering services and programs, in partnership with the Australia Council. Base funding is intended to provide organisations with resources sufficient for them to generate additional income from other sources.

Triennially Base Funded Organisations

Are not-for-profit entities with a sound artistic, operational and financial track-record who are provided with base funding towards administrative, operative and artistic costs of delivering services and programs. Base funding is intended to provide organisations with resources sufficient for them to generate additional income from other sources.

Multiyear Program Funded Organisations

Are not-for-profit entities with a demonstrated track record of at least three years in relation to both the merit and quality of the activities they undertake and sound financial and operational practice, and which the relevant Department Peer Assessment Panel has endorsed as being worthy of a multi-year commitment for funding.
