Showcasing the pre-eminent art collection in Western Australia

Community Cultural and Arts Facilities Fund

The last round of the Community Cultural Arts and Facilities Fund (CCAFF), closed on
5 June 2009, signalling the completion of a five year program of funding for arts and cultural facilities.

The CCAFF fund was established to assist arts and cultural infrastructure needs of Local Government and not-for-profit arts and cultural organisations.  Funding of $2.75million for a four year program was delivered by the Department after an initial pilot round in 2005.

The Department is currently undertaking an evaluation of the CCAFF program which will consider factors impacting on facilities and infrastructure development, including planning, budgeting and ongoing management.   It is anticipated that the results of the evaluation will be available in October 2009.

Organisations have utilised CCAFF in many different ways, resulting in over 40 valuable projects for arts and cultural facilities across Western Australia.

DCA would like to thank all the partners and contributors who have enabled many successful and interesting projects to be supported through the CCAFF initiative. The Department will provide further advice following the completion of the evaluation.
