Young People and the Arts Program
| This funding assists young people’s access to, and participation in, a broad range of arts and cultural activities. The Young People and the Arts Panel assesses applications for arts activity for, with and by young people aged 26 years* and younger in all artform areas excluding film, television and radio. Projects recommended for funding by the Panel are wide-ranging and include digital art, community cultural development, visual arts and craft, writing, performing arts, interdisciplinary arts and music. Assessment criteria
The Panel assesses applications against the assessment criteria of the Arts Grants Program, and criteria specific to the categories.
Eligibility
See the general eligibility of the Arts Grants Program as well as specific requirements for your selected category. In addition activities must:
- Be conceived and produced by people aged 26 years and under at the time of the closing date* and/or
- Involve established artists or arts organisations working in collaboration with young people aged 26 years and under at the time of the closing date, and/or
- Be developed by established artists or organisations for presentation to audiences aged 26 years and under.
