The State Government has recognised the success of the arts and cultural sector with the inaugural Western Australian Cultural Achievement Awards at tonight’s Australia Business Arts Foundation (AbaF) Awards in WA.

Culture and the Arts Minister John Day presented the two new awards, ‘Excellence in Arts Enterprise’ and ‘Excellence in Arts Management’ at a function at Government House.

“The State Government is a national leader in recognising and supporting business and arts partnerships. By being the Major Government Partner for the AbaF Awards in WA, this State continues to acknowledge the artistic success of the arts and culture sector,” the Minister said.
